La demanda de patata en los hogares aumentó durante el confinamiento un 20% y no solo el sector productor y comercializador tuvo que dar respuesta a este auge de la demanda, sino toda su industria auxiliar, entre ellos empresas de maquinaria para la postcosecha como la valenciana Horfrumed, especializada en las instalaciones llave en mano de líneas de tratamiento postcosecha de la patata.
La firma Horfrumed ofrece maquinaria de fabricación propia en su factoría en Sagunto, fabricando, a medida, desde voladores simples y dobles, llenadoras de Jumbos, llenadores de palots, calibradores, quitatierras, escurridoras, cepilladoras, bandas transportadoras hasta elevadores, lavadoras, pulidoras, etc. Caracterizados por la robustez de sus máquinas y fiabilidad de su tecnología, en Horfrumed se adaptan a la demanda personalizada de sus clientes, ofreciéndoles a su vez un servicio técnico especializado en el mantenimiento de instalaciones postcosecha, propias y ajenas.

Fausto Sánchez, gerente de Horfrumed, afirma que, durante este año de pandemia, han continuado trabajando con normalidad, pero aplicando todas las medidas sanitarias oportunas. “Nuestros clientes están satisfechos con nuestra atención en estos meses tan duros porque hemos estado ahí para ayudarles en todo lo que han ido necesitando a nivel tecnológico, humano y material”.
Gracias a su rápida y eficaz respuesta, de cara a la próxima campaña de la patata, la compañía Horfrumed va a aumentar su cartera de clientes y tiene varios proyectos pendientes de desarrollo en diferentes puntos de España.
