La Pandi de Sakata, Premio Naos 2020 a la iniciativa empresarial

En el salón de actos Ernest Lluch de la sede del Ministerio de Consumo del gobierno de España ha tenido lugar el acto de entrega de la 12ª y 13ª edición de los Premios Naos. La Pandi, el proyecto de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa de Sakata para la promoción del consumo de frutas y hortalizas en los colegios, ha recibido el Premio Naos 2020 a la iniciativa empresarial.
Estos galardones, que tienen como finalidad reconocer y dar mayor visibilidad a aquellos programas que promueven la alimentación saludable, forman parte de la Estrategia Naos del Ministerio de Consumo y de la Agencia Española de Seguridad Alimentaria, cuya meta es invertir la tendencia de la prevalencia de la obesidad, siguiendo las políticas marcadas por la Organización Mundial de la Salud y La Unión Europea.
El acto ha sido presidido por el ministro de consumo, Alberto Garzón, quien ha hecho hincapié en que “en las últimas décadas ha habido una transformación de los hábitos alimentarios que no ha sido positiva”. “El mayor consumo de alimentos ricos en sales, azúcares y grasas y menos frutas, vegetales y legumbres, ha acarreado una serie de consecuencias como la aparición de enfermedades cardiovasculares y crónicas como la diabetes y algunos tipos de cáncer”, ha resaltado el ministro Garzón.
El Premio Naos es el último reconocimiento que recibe Sakata pero no el único, ya que La Pandi se alzó con el Premio al Mejor Proyecto de Categoría Infantil, de la Asociación 5 al día en el 2019 y Premio Estrella de Internet 2020 a Mejor Blog.
Aprender jugando, la estrategia pedagógica de La Pandi
Con Pandi más de 46.000 niños han aprendido la importancia de tener una alimentación saludable desde 2013. El éxito de estos talleres gratuitos, dirigidos a niños de 1º a 4º de Primaria, radica en que los escolares aprenden jugando a través de juegos interactivos, experiencias sensoriales, cuentos, peluches y la serie de animación La Pandi, donde las frutas y verduras cobran vida para tener miles de aventuras. ‘Brocolín’, con los superpoderes del brócoli, el melón piel de sapo ‘Sapito’ y su prima la calabaza ‘Pilgrim’, el pimiento más gamberro ‘Yellow’, la inventora ‘Tina’ y las traviesas gemelas ‘Bi’ y ‘Mi’ son los protagonistas de La Pandi. Estos personajes son parte de las herramientas que se utilizan en la estrategia pedagógica, que ayuda no solo a promover el consumo de frutas y verduras sino también a transmitir valores humanos y medioambientales, como la importancia de la agricultura y la sostenibilidad.
Además, La Pandi cuenta con un taller 100% digital e interactivo con múltiples actividades y material didáctico tanto para docentes, alumnos y sus padres y madres.
