El frenético ritmo de crecimiento de la firma murciana Unexport le ha llevado a abrir nuevas instalaciones y lanzar una línea de producto transformado.

Last September, Unexport launched a new headquarters located in Lorca (Murcia), whose opening has been a step forward in the expansion strategy of the group of cooperatives, which grew by 20% in the last campaign and already reaches almost 50 million euros. Its goal, with an area of more than 1200 m², is to accommodate a larger team, improve the quality of service, with greater development in the international market.

The vision of Unexport thus shows a commitment to the expansion of its services, which includes a new marketing department, continue to promote the bio line that represents 25% of production, and the presentation of a section of transformed product and a new brand.

All this despite the crisis that is going through the sector, according to Thomas Andersson. Given this complicated situation, the bio line or the broccoli, its main product, will be two of its spearheads in its business strategy since the demand for both products will continue to increase, according to Andersson.

Unexport have decided to take advantage of the commercial network they have, to distribute a new line of transformed crops that previously were sent to industry. Olive oil, almonds, aloe vera, artichoke, spices and packaged peppers, among others, will form the new offer of the firm that will be marketed under the brand Murmullos del Edén.
