Easy Bites, a new concept in vegetable consumption. HUERCASA

Huercasa celebra su 40 aniversario y se centra en potenciar su línea “On the go” y los formatos convenience.


They are world leaders in cooked corn and beetroot, and that is not by chance. Its constant commitment to R & D allows Huercasa to be at the head of the launches of the V Range segment, and to meet the demand of new consumers and homes. “It is not a secret that there are fewer and fewer members in households, and we have to respond to this with new products, in addition to offering more easy formats, and that is what we do”, points out Ana San Romualdo, Huercasa communication manager.
Faced with this reality, Huercasa is committed to convenience products, which are designed to this type of households with fewer members. Thus, they introduced the Easy Bites at Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin. They are a new concept of consumption, resulted of this trend to offer greater comfort and quickness, and that also contributes to the minimum waste of food. It is its traditional cooked corn of only 7 cm, with 3 units per package, and its traditional sliced beetroot, prepared for salad and in smaller quantity.
This is added to the innovations presented at Fruit Attraction, the “on the go” line, which includes vegetable creams, salads with legumes, … In addition to its bio range, which is increasingly wider.
